Marie has a BS in Interior Design and twenty years of commercial design experience. She is a LEED AP, NCIDQ certified and is a licensed interior designer by the State of Florida. Her design background includes seven years as a facility designer for a healthcare system, five years working with several large telecommunication companies, and for the past seven years has been a partner in two commercial design firms. Marie has worked with banking, healthcare, corporate, hospitality, retail, and institutional clients. She has a passion for sustainable living and wanted to incorporate that passion into her interior design business. As a result she became a LEED AP in 2007 and Greenspace Interior Design was created. Marie is an active member of the local chapter of the USGBC serving as Co-Chair of the Programs Committee, is an active member of IFMA, ABC Women’s Council, Crew, and ASID. She was a chairperson on the HSA of San Juan del Rio Catholic School, and a volunteer with the American Lung Association’s O2 Green Walk, the 2008 HabiJax Women Build Project, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Pace Center for Girls, and the Symphony Showhouse.
